According to the website anonymousmx.com (Anonymous
Mexico), the catholic archdiocese in Mexico has absolved a
priest of his crimes which include raping of young girls.
The priest identified as Jose Garcia Ataulfo, who is said to
also be HIV positive, had earlier admitted to raping over 30
young girls between the ages of 5-10, who are from Oaxaca
in southern Mexico.
According to the website, one of the victims’ mother tried to
set up a meeting with Pope Francis in Rome, but was
reportedly shut down by the vatican who sent her a letter
saying the matter has already been closed.
They also claim only two of the victims came forward to
denounce the acquittal. The priest is also said to be walking
freely, as he hasn’t been charged with any criminal offence
yet, maybe due to the influence of the catholic church in
Mexico.
