Aww... Kensington Palace shares adorable photos of Princess Charlotte taken before she left for her first day of school

Kensington Palace just released two heartwarming photos of Princess Charlotte taken by her mother, Kate Middleton, just before the little royal left for her first day of nursery school.

In the photos, Charlotte, 2, had such a regal air about her, from the way she was dressed, to her pose as she smiled for the camera.

Kensington Palace wrote: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning. 

"The images were taken by The Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School."
